RPSC RAS Recruitment 2021. Rajasthan Public Service Commission has invited online applications for recruitment to 988 posts of RAS/ RTS. Candidates who are having requisite qualifications as mentioned in the succeeding paragraphs may apply for online applications. Candidates are advised to go through the official notification before applying online for any post.

RPSC RAS RECRUITMENT 2021 ELIGIBILITY

The Candidates applying for the RPSC RAS exam must hold a Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government in consultation with the Commission.

RPSC RAS RECRUITMENT 2021 SELECTION PROCESS

The Combined Competitive Examination of RAS will be held in two successive stages-

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Examination

PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

  • The Preliminary Examination consists of one paper on the subject specified below, which will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 200 marks.
  • The examination is meant to serve as a screening test only.
  • The Standard of the paper will be that of a Bachelor’s Level.
  • All papers should be answered either in Hindi or in the English language.

MAINS EXAMINATION

  • The number of candidates to be admitted to the Main Examination will be 15 times the total number of vacancies to be filled in the year in the examination.
  • The written examination will consist of the following four papers which will be descriptive/analytical.
  • A candidate must appear for all the papers listed below which will also consist of a question paper of brief, medium, long answer, and descriptive type questions.
  • The standard of General Hindi and General English will be that of Senior Secondary level.
  • The time allowed for each paper will be 3 hours.
  • All papers shall be answered either in Hindi or in English.

PERSONALITY TEST AND INTERVIEW

The Candidates appearing in the main examination shall be required to obtain a minimum of 10% marks in each paper and 15% marks in aggregate out of the total marks of all papers in the main examination to qualify for appearing in the personality and viva voce examination. The Personality and viva-voce examination will carry 100 marks.
