Odisha Police SI Selection Process 2023

About the Selection Method:

Odisha Police Recruitment Board will take the following tests to ensure selection to Sub Inspector posts Sub Inspector:

  1. Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) = 300 marks
  2. Physical Standards Measurement Test (PST PMT) = Qualification in nature (No marks)
  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) = qualifying in nature (No marks)

The candidates who qualify, based upon how they performed at CBRE, 03 (three) times the number of vacant positions (category specific) will be selected for Physical Standards or Measurement. Additionally, candidates who pass the PST or PMT will be permitted to take part in the physical Efficiency Test. There will be no viva-voce, or tests for psychological ability. Candidates who have NCC “B1” Certificate will be awarded an additional 01 mark and 02 marks for NCC “C” Certificate.
