Indian Air Force Agniveer Group X Y Salary

• The detailed salary structure is as given below. The per-month salary of Agniveers will be as follows:
  • 1st Year – Rs. 30,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
  • 2nd Year – Rs.33,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
  • 3rd Year – Rs.36,500/- (plus applicable allowances.)
  • 4th Years- Rs. 40,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
  Besides this, there is also a provision of Seva Nidhi which amounts to Rs 11.71 lakh, (including interest accumulated on the above amount as per the applicable interest rates would also be paid). 30% of monthly emoluments will be contributed by individual agniveers  while an equal amount will be contributed by the Government. This will be accumulated over a period of four years. The details of contribution are as given below:
  • Ist year: Rs. 18,000/- Per Month (₹ 9,000/- By Agniveer & ₹ 9,000 By Government)

4. Original and four self-attested photocopies , Matriculation (10th) Certificate of Passing Certificate Marksheet Intermediate (12th) Certificate of Passing Certificate along with Mark Sheet.
5. Original and four photocopies of Passing Certificate and Marks Sheets of all semesters.
6. The certificate issued by SOAFP (Son of Air Force Personnel), the certificate that is issued to sons of the retired and serving must be obtained from the Download section on the CASB web portal . It is then taken with you during the phase II report.
7. Wards for retired Air personnel must carry the original discharge books of their parents.
8. Original admit card of phase I used for the online phase-I test featuring the Air force seal and the signature of the invigilator.

Important guidelines for IAF Exam

1. The exam will take place online.
2. The written test will consist comprised of multiple choice questions (MCQ).
3. Exam will be bilingual. Exam will be bi-lingual, i.e. both in Hindi & English except English Section
4. The candidates who are applying for group X will have to answer 70 questions within sixty minutes.
5. The candidates who are applying for group Y will be provided with 50 questions to be answered in 45 minutes
6. The applicants who apply for both groups X & Y will be given 100 questions to be answered in an hour and 85 minutes.

Indian Air Force Physical Fitness Test

The Air Force demands physical fitness of its Airmen, and it is mandatory to pass the PFT. Below is a tests that will be held:

• 1.6 km of run in just 6 minutes 30 seconds
• 10 Sit-ups
• 20 Squats
• 10 Push-ups

Test of Adaptability-1:

Candidates who pass an exam called the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) are then required to pass the test for adaptability during which the they will be tested on their SRT (Situation Response Test). The candidate’s decision-making ability and response/reaction are assessed. The maximum number of SRTs is 45 which are to be performed over the duration of 30 minutes. It is a test of a candidate’s mind with respect to the standards that are set by the defense forces.

Test of Adaptability-2:

Candidates who are selected must attend a Group Discussion following the passing of the Adaptability Test 1. This is a group of 10-15 people sitting in a small group with an agreed-upon topic and discussing their thoughts about it. A test tests an individual’s ability to communicate and awareness. In most cases, social skills like the capacity to persuade are assessed.

After passing all rounds Test results are issued to candidates who have been selected along with the location and dates for medical tests.

The third phase of Airforce Group X & Y 2022

After having passed the Adaptability Test 2, appear to be examined by a doctor which is a clinical test and then approved.

All applicants who pass the medical exam will be selected on the basis of their marks. A merit-list will then be made. A call letter is issued to those that are mentioned on the merit list. The list is then used to enroll as part of the Indian Air Force in Belgavi, Karnataka.
