Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts a common recruitment process (CRP) every year for the recruitment of clerical cadre in multiple banks all over the country. All public sector banks use CRP as a base to fill the vacancies for this post.

IBPS is conducting the Clerk exam for the 11th year now and hence named IBPS Clerk CRP XI. The Clerk CRP exam is conducted on two levels- preliminary exam and mains. Students qualifying in both these exams are thus selected for the post. IBPS Clerk Salary 2021

The initial basic pay for candidates being appointed to clerk posts through this recruitment will be Rs 11,765. The IBPS Clerk pay scale is 11765-655/3-13730-815/3-16175-980/4-20095-1145/7-28110-2120/1-30230/1310-1-31540. According to the same, the minimum Basic Pay for IBPS Clerk is Rs 11,765/- while the maximum is Rs.31540/- after increments. The in-hand salary of a newly joined IBPS clerk comes around 25000/- while that of an ex-serviceman who joins as an IBPS clerk the in-hand salary comes to be around 55000/-.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process

The exam is conducted in two phases, namely, Preliminary and Main. The prelims exam is conducted only to shortlist candidates for the Mains exam. The final selection is based on a candidate’s performance in the Mains examination. There is no interview for the selection of the post of Clerk.
